TrueKote CS 200 Nonskid Coating
TrueKote CS-200 is a two component fast cure aliphatic urethane non skid coating. When fully cured it forms a semi rigid durable non skid surface coating. This coating is formulated for interior or exterior applications with good retention of physical properties and color in outdoor applications. TrueKote CS-200 is applied by paint roller (solvent resistant) or spray applied with a simple low cost hopper spray gun. TrueKote CS-200 is frequently used in industrial maintenance where a slip resistant texture surface is required. This coating has been used successfully with a urethane base primer on aircraft, railroad cars, ships, storage tanks, metal bridges, roadways, piping, structural steel, concrete, wood and some plastics, including vinyl. TrueKote CS 200 is preferred over epoxy type nonskid coatings in applications where substrate surface experiences frequent traffic or impact, movement and or vibration. The flexibility of CS-200 is inherent in the basic urethane polymer and not achieved by the use of fillers or plasticizers. This enables the TrueKote CS-200 coating to remain flexible over an extended service life or on structures which experience movement or vibration.
TrueKote CS 200 is packaged in pre measured one gallon or 5 gallon kit containers. It contains sand and aluminum oxide particles to achieve an aggressive non-slip surface profile. To use this product a part A and part B component must be mixed together at time of use. Coating must be applied to substrate immediately after combining part A and B components. TrueKote CS-200 becomes tack free in 2 hours and dries hard in 12 hours @ 77 F and 50% Relative Humidity conditions. Coating is suitable for normal traffic use in 48 to 72 hours. At cool or cold temperatures (below 60 F) additional curing time will be required before full service properties are achieved. The standard color of TrueKote CS-200 is Standard Safety Yellow.
