EC-100 is a very low viscosity hydrophobic , polyurethane-encapsulate with formulated to create a super soft polymer that is especially well suited for encapsulating electrical components .EC-100 maintains a waterproof non- leaching seal over a wide range of service temperatures .The high tack feature combined with low softness ensures dynamic coupling.

  • Extremely Hydrophobic
  • Rapid Set
  • Low Viscosity
  • Low Durometer
  • High Tack

Application and Mix Ratio

Component A and B are supplied in 1 or 5 gallon plastic containers.
Carefully measure out Component A (91 parts) to Component B (100 parts) by weight or 1:1 by volume. Use a flat metal spatula and mix for 15 to 20 seconds then pour into prepared mold.

Clean Up

Clean up with Mineral Spirits or Toluene.

Dispose of all empty EC-100 component containers in accordance with local, state and federal regulations. Empty component containers can be rendered non-hazardous by rinsing the containers with a small amount of mixed material and allowing the solvents to evaporate. The containers will then contain non-hazardous cured urethane.

Storage and Shelf Life

AM-2500 containers should be stored in a cool dry area that is protected from direct sunlight and moisture. Storage temperatures should be between 50˚F and 100°F. The shelf life of factory sealed containers stored under these conditions is six (6) months.

Shipping Class: Class 55 Non-hazardous
